For the first time in Bulgaria there is provided a unique opportunity to obtain grants with the construction of small photovoltaic facilities for the manufacture and sale of electricity, which would be profitable and economically justified.

This option is granted by the Programme for Rural Region Development (RRDP). As it will be subsidized projects for the production and sale of energy from renewable sources, including their integration in a power transmission network to 1 megawatt. The grant amounts to 70% of the value of the project, the maximum amount that can be absorbed is 200 000 euro.

RRDP measures

The two measures from which you can receive subsidies for energy production from photovoltaic plants for sale are 311 "Diversification of non-agricultural activities" and 312 "Support for the establishment and development of micro enterprises" from the Programme for Rural Region Development.

They are aimed primarily at two groups of beneficiaries. Farmers, decided to diversify their business and to develop profitable businesses in sectors outside the agriculture and to companies registered in rural areas in the country.
